Ohio, APRspecializes in the design and manufacturing of refractory precast
shapes.
APR offers a
complete line of shapes utilized in the Blast Furnace Casthouse
for iron & slagrunner systems, tilting
runners and transfer equipment.
These shapes include trough back up system retainer shapes,
skimmer blocks, iron andslag end spouts, drain gate
systems and other shapes.
Ultra-low moisture, low cement, silicon carbide bearing castables are the
core products for making shapes in the casthouse applications.
ladle bottoms, ladle impact pads,
lances and other specialty shapes are
available for the steelmaking plant, made with high strength, high
alumina, low cement castables.
