In molten aluminum contact areas shapes generally are made
with higher alumina, high strength non-wetting refractories such as
LADLE-LITE®, DRI-LITE®,
QUICK CAST®, MATRIPUMP, MATRICAST, or MATRIFLO lines. High
silicon carbide versions of these products may be used for high wear, high
impact, or high thermal shock areas in a system.
