APRstarted its business specializing and focusing mainly in the Electric Arc Furnace industry. From its
beginning APR has been able to apply its collective knowledge
gained from the EAF industry to making precast refractory shapes for all
industries.
APR offers a
complete line of furnace spout/runner shapes, launders,
breast blocks, ladles, ladle bottoms,ladle impact
pads, well blocks, seating blocks, EBT Electrode Sleeves,
anddeltas for roofs shapes for AC or DC
EAF's in the
steel melting industry. Generally high strength, high alumina castables
are utilized in these applications. Products are available with chrome
oxide additions for zoning, or mullite/alumina castables, as well as
no-cement castables.
