a complete line of shapes utilized in the blast
furnacecasthouse
for iron & slagrunner systems, tilting
runners and transfer equipment.
These shapes include trough
back up system retainer shapes, skimmerblocks, iron and slag
endspouts, drain gate systems,and other shapes.
Ultra-low moisture, low cement, silicon carbide bearing castables are the
core products for making shapes in the casthouse applications. Ladle
bottoms, ladleimpact pads, lances and other specialty shapes are
available for the steelmaking plant, made with high strength, high
alumina, low cement castables.
