American Precast Refractories is a
division of Allied Mineral
Products, Inc. Located in Columbus,Ohio, APRspecializes in the design and manufacturing of refractory precast
shapes.
APR offers a
complete line of furnace spout/runner shapes, launders, EBT electrode
sleeves, roof & delta shapes for AC or DC electric
arc furnaces in the
steel melting industry. Generally high strength, high alumina castables
are utilized in these applications. Products are available with chrome
oxide additions for zoning, or mullite/alumina castables, as well as
no-cement castables.
APR
started its business specializing and focusing mainly in the EAF
industry. From its beginning APR has been able to apply its
collective knowledge gained from the EAF industry to making precast
refractory shapes for all industries.
